As Deuteronomy 32:30 explains to us; if one can put a thousand enemies to flight, and two can put ten thousand enemies to flight, just imagine what we can do when we all come together. "When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I will be there." (Matthew 18:19-20, The Message Bible) The Bible tells us many, many times that we should "pray without ceasing". (1 Thessalonians 5:8, KJV) Paul tells us in Phillipians 4:6 that we should "not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." God does answer prayer. He may not answer your prayer on your time and on your terms, but He does answer prayer. This site is a means for God's children to put those requests before fellow believers so that we may all pray together and be in agreement with one another over our needs.
"To him who sits on the throne and to the the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" (Revelation 5:13, NIV) When the angel came to John on the island of Patmos and showed him heaven, John saw every creature in heaven praising the Lord. If you are not used to giving Him praise, it's time to get started. Cause' where we are going, it's going to be an eternal life of praising the one and only God Almighty!! We need to praise Him each and every day of our lives, for what He has done for us, what He is currently doing in our lives, as well as what He is about to do. Paul tells us in Ephesians 5:20 that we should be "always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." When we have prayer answered, the first thing we should do is praise Him. But, we should not stop there. It's the trials and tribulations of our life that bring us closer to Him. We should praise Him for all of the storms in our life. Were it not for the storms in our life, we would not cling to Him for guidance and help. "If you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name." (1 Peter 4:16, NIV) Not only does Paul tell us to "pray without ceasing" in 1 Thessolonians 5:17, but in verse 18 he tells us to "give thanks in all circumsatnces." God is worthy of all praise!! Thank Him that you are one of the chosen that will REJOICE IN HIM FOREVER!!
